About Steve McIntosh
Steve McIntosh is an activist working to apply cutting-edge philosophy to bring about positive social progress. His primary focus centers around researching, writing, and speaking on the topic of the integral philosophy of evolution.
In 2000, Steve became part of Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute, where he served in both the Integral Art and Integral Business branches. As Steve’s mastery of integral philosophy grew, he became an independent advocate of the integral worldview, working as an integral consultant and giving lectures on integral philosophy at a variety of venues, including Naropa University. In connection with his activism on behalf of the integral worldview, in 2004 Steve founded The Project for Integral World Federation, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultural and political evolution. In September 2007, Paragon House publishers will release Steve’s long-awaited book: Integral Consciousness and the Future of Evolution, which begins a new phase of his work within the integral movement.
An honors graduate of the University of Virginia Law School and the University of Southern California Business School, in addition to his work in the integral movement, Steve is also the founder and president of Now & Zen, Inc., an international manufacturing company marketing “natural lifestyle products” which he has invented. Prior to founding Now & Zen in 1995, Steve had a variety of successful careers, practicing law with one of the nation's biggest firms, and working as an executive with Celestial Seasonings tea company.
